Our hands-on Elementary Science courses are offered in a two-year rotation.  The classes complement our Elementary Writing Foundations and Humanities courses.

We have chosen to use the exciting Apologia Young Explorers Series, which combines conversationally-written instruction, hand-on activities, and interactive note-booking with an inquisitiveness into God’s Creation to turn your young learner into a young explorer.

Scientific thinking with the scientific method is stressed even in these early years, which gives the student solid preparation for upper level science. According to the author, the series is designed for students in elementary school and gives a solid science foundation, using time-tested, proven methods that enhance retention, unleash a child’s love for learning and passion for science, and ground the learner’s faith in a young earth created by the God of the Bible.
