2nd-3rd Grade - Spotlight! on America focuses on an epic adventure through U.S. History in manageable thematic units covering stories from America history, geography, science, Biblical character, hands-on activities, classic children’s literature, basic language arts, mathematic concepts, music, and art. These units can be combined with supplemental study at home or simply as an opportunity for organized group instruction with no prior preparation on your part. Join us for a year-long journey spotlighting fascinating stories from America’s history.

Each Spotlight! grade includes a hands-on unit study approach providing instruction in most subjects areas. Math and phonics are not part of K-5 Spotlight! Families may choose to extend the thematic-focus with further investigative learning at home or as a standalone supplement paired alongside the curriculum of their choice. All K-5 students will need an individual English/Phonics and Mathematics program associated with the grade level of the student.
