Middle School Grades 6

Elevate! for 6th Grade

Elevate! takes students on a year-long journey through the Ancient World, seamlessly integrating Bible, History, and Literature. Using Mystery of History, Volume 1 and engaging supplemental books, students gain a deeper understanding of ancient civilizations. They also develop critical organizational skills by utilizing tools like timelines, Venn diagrams, and plot triangles to analyze historical and literary concepts.

In Anatomy and Physiology, students explore the intricacies of the human body, marveling at its design and the Creator’s handiwork. Collaborative learning and hands-on lab activities make science both exciting and accessible.

Math 6 reinforces foundational math facts while introducing key sixth-grade concepts. Through a blend of traditional textbooks, manipulatives, and group activities, abstract ideas become tangible and engaging.

Language development is a cornerstone of the program, with Grammar 6 and Creative Writing empowering students to master proper sentence construction, proofreading, and revision techniques. Emphasis is placed on crafting strong topic sentences, organizing paragraphs, and writing for various audiences with clarity and purpose.

This rich curriculum reveals God’s sovereignty through history and science while equipping students with essential life skills. Weekly assignments feature clear, step-by-step instructions that promote independence and accountability. Students hone their abilities in note-taking, researching, and managing daily lesson plans while effectively using technology to complete and submit assignments.

With a focus on collaborative learning, critical thinking, and creativity, Elevate! inspires meaningful peer interactions and fosters communication skills.
