High School
9th–12th Grade
Rigorous, college-preparatory academics grounded in a Christian worldview — where your student is mentored, challenged, and equipped for life after graduation.
College Prep with a Kingdom Purpose
The high school years are about more than transcripts and test scores. They are a critical season for young people to develop a confident faith, a love of learning, and the character that will define the adults they become. At The Bridge, we take both the academic and the spiritual dimensions of this season seriously.
Our 9th–12th grade program offers college-preparatory coursework taught by experienced, credentialed tutors who integrate a biblical worldview into every class. Students emerge ready not only for college admissions but for a lifetime of purposeful, faithful engagement with the world.
With class sizes capped at 15 students, every young person in our program is seen, known, and personally invested in.
Instructors Who Go Beyond the Curriculum
The quality of instruction matters enormously in the high school years. The Bridge has spent more than two decades selecting tutors who bring not only academic excellence but genuine mentorship to every classroom. Our high school tutors are educators who have chosen to serve in a setting where they can teach and disciple — and it shows.
Deep Subject Expertise
Our tutors specialize in their disciplines — from literature and composition to chemistry, higher math, and history. Students are taught by people who love and live their subjects.
Integrated Christian Worldview
Faith is not an add-on at The Bridge. Tutors thoughtfully weave a biblical perspective into the content of every course, helping students develop convictions they can articulate and defend.
Mentorship in Small Groups
A maximum of 15 students per class means tutors have real relationship with every student — noticing struggles, encouraging growth, and partnering closely with parents.
"Where your child is known, faith grows, and learning thrives." That's not just a tagline at The Bridge — it's how our tutors approach every class period.
A Biblical Worldview Across Every Discipline
At The Bridge, we believe all truth is God's truth — and that conviction shapes how every subject is taught. High school students don't compartmentalize their faith; they learn to integrate it into how they think, reason, and engage with the world.
English & Literature
Students read from the Western canon and contemporary works, analyzing texts through a biblical lens and strengthening writing skills that will carry them through college and career.
Mathematics
From Algebra I through higher-level math, students develop rigorous problem-solving skills — recognizing the order and beauty God has embedded in creation.
Lab Sciences
Hands-on lab courses in physical science, biology, chemistry, and forensic science challenge students to think scientifically while deepening their awe of God's design in the natural world.
History & Government
From World History to U.S. History to Government & Economics, students examine how God has worked throughout human events and how they are called to be faithful citizens today.
Spanish
Language study broadens students' ability to engage the world — and to love and serve neighbors across cultural and linguistic boundaries.
Bible
Dedicated Bible study helps students move beyond Sunday school familiarity to a deeper engagement with Scripture — understanding its story, developing their theology, and grounding their lives in God's Word.
Prepared for Life — Not Just College
Academic rigor is important, but so is the person who walks across the graduation stage. The Bridge's high school program intentionally develops character, independence, and practical wisdom alongside academic achievement.
High school students are expected to manage their own assignments, deadlines, and academic progress — building the self-direction colleges and employers value.
From essays and research papers to class discussion and presentation, students leave The Bridge as articulate, confident communicators.
Students learn to evaluate arguments, weigh evidence, and form well-reasoned conclusions — essential in college and in life.
Courses like Consumer Math and Health & Personal Finance equip graduates to navigate real-world decisions with wisdom.
Integrity, humility, diligence, and service are not just expected — they are cultivated intentionally through community, mentorship, and Scripture.
Computer Science Foundations fulfills a Tennessee graduation requirement and prepares students for a world where digital literacy is essential.
